Participants
Participants play an essential role in the success of the project. They provide equipment, expertise, and real‑world conditions necessary for deployment.
Partners contribute by lending electric machines, charging stations, and specialized equipment required to complete the project. They also offer technical support, help commission the machines, and share their knowledge of electric technologies, allowing the equipment to be evaluated in a context representative of the sector.
Ambassadors, meanwhile, perform tests on an active worksite for two weeks to obtain real usage data comparable to a diesel-equivalent vehicle. Their involvement includes optimizing machine use during the trial, actively engaging their teams to share operational information, and collecting operator feedback to obtain essential qualitative data.
Participating associations also strengthen the project’s reach through their networks, strategic advice, and communications support. Some participants also provide space for training, demonstrations, or events, fostering knowledge sharing and visibility for the project.

Candidate Organizations for a Trial
The companies below have committed as potential ambassadors to host a trial of electric machinery on one of their worksites. For them, this participation will help assess the feasibility of electrifying their fleet and benefit from support in their decision-making process.
For the project team, access to varied worksites enables data collection in real conditions, representative of different types of sites in Québec’s ecosystem.
The final selection of test sites will be confirmed following the analysis process to identify the most appropriate location for the available equipment.
By participating in the project, organizations support sustainable innovation, help reduce emissions, and assist the industry in its transition toward cleaner technologies. Plug-in Fleet Heavy Equipment is currently seeking companies ready to collaborate and commit to this initiative.
